Penetration (Pen) Testing for Critical Infrastructure Protection: Latest Tactics, Techniques, and Tools for the New Year

DESCRIPTION
This presentation will cover an update of some of the most powerful pen testing tools currently in use, diving deeper into mobile, RF and Ai foundations, and learn about reinforced learning used to power the little Ai Wi-Fi / Network “Swiss Army Knife” Type Tool loaded at the core with Bettercap.org open source software, running on a Raspberry Pi Zero W board. If you wish to participate and follow the live hands-on network hacking labs, MITM (Man in the middle) spiced with some encryption downgrade using SSLstripv2, you will either need to have a Raspberry Pi Zero W or a Virtual Machine running Raspberry Pi Desktop OS, details available here: http://pwnagothchi.ai/

LEARNING OBJECTIVES – You will learn about:

1. Building custom open-source Artificial Intelligence (AI) Wi-Fi and network penetration testing tools and how they are applied in assessments.

**Hands-On Activity: Initial flashing and network set-up Pwnagotchi

2. Specifically why Reinforcement Learning (RL) was chosen for the Weaponized Raspberry Pi project called Pwnagotchi.

3. How Wi-Fi WPA2 hashes could be cracked using the future of Pwnagotchi public Grid; and

**Hands-On Activity: WPA2 Ai Intercept and cracking the hash

4. Defense tactics by better understanding the TTPs of the attack.

INSTRUCTOR

Wayne Burke – Currently CSO for Sequrit CSI, he has extensive experience in public / defense sectors for heavyweight world renowned corporations such as Yahoo, Xerox, AT&T and Texas Instruments to name but a few. He holds a string of professional qualifications in Networking (MCT, MCSE, Cisco, Network+) and IT Security (CIW-SA, Security+, CEH, ECSA, LPT, CHFI), and a bachelor’s degree in science.
