The Art of Preparing for CMMC Readiness: Examining Certification Requirements

Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 is a U.S. DoD certification process that measures the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) sector to enhance protection of sensitive data – specifically, Federal Contract Information and Controlled Unclassified Information, within the supply chain. Hundreds of thousands of organizations will be impacted by CMMC 2.0 requirements. Majority of intellectual property (IP) theft is directly attributed to poor cybersecurity maturity and ineffective implementation of controls necessary to protect sensitive data. Hence, CMMC!
