Steve Caimi is the Director of US Public Sector Solutions Marketing at Okta. He is passionate about strengthening our nation’s security and economy through IT modernization, cyber best practices, and regulatory compliance. He is laser-focused on the vital role of secure identity in today’s digital-first world.

Before joining Okta, Steve worked to improve public and private sector security through roles in product marketing, product management, sales engineering, and solution architecture at Cisco, HP Enterprise Security, CA Technologies, UUNET Technologies, and Citigroup.

He earned a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Dana Hersom has a dynamic career in new business development of Commercial, Network-based electronic security systems integration. For the last 5 years, he has focused on cloud-based applications in both IoT and AI-enhanced systems creating new security market channels and recently developed new cloud applications for COVID requirements being deployed in Schools. Dana has the unique advantage of accomplished years of experience and knowledge founded in both the product Software development, product development, as well as an Integrator serving end-user clients. Understanding and experiencing both side of the security industry he is known for his entrepreneurial Capture Programs, managing sales, marketing and product development. He has demonstrated this through his successful employment with world-class companies such as General Electric (GE Security), HID Global / Assa Abloy, Raytheon (SAVI Technologies), KRATOS-Defense, and is the founder of Red Rock Security Group LLC based in Colorado Springs.
