INSTRUCTOR:
Dr. Jennifer Hesterman, Colonel, USAF (retired), Jenni was in the Air Force for 21 years, serving in 3 Pentagon tours and multiple commands. Her final assignment was Vice Commander, at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, where she led installation security, including the protection of Air Force One. Jenni, a counterterrorism and soft target hardening expert, works with businesses, schools, houses of worship, malls, hospitals, convention centers, and sporting venues to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities. She advises two DHS Security Centers of Excellence and is on the advisory panel for the Homeland Security Training Institute and the Crisis Response Journal. She is the author of two award-winning security books and instructs courses for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency. Jenni is an analog astronaut and participates in simulated space missions, conducting human factors and scientific research to advance human spaceflight.
