This event occurs 12-2 EST over 2 days.

Our world continues to evolve at a rapid pace. Along with the positives such as economic growth and technological advances, there is also a continued evolution by those who do harm.

From violent extremists driven by ideology to criminal violence targeting individuals and our critical infrastructure, acts of violence plague all sectors of society and business.

The Situation Awareness Specialist® (SAS) professional certificate training program was designed to educate an individual in the craft of situational awareness – to help build and enhance the capacity to better understand and deal with the dynamics of random and potentially threatening events.

The SAS program provides the student with critical information to assess their environment and make appropriate decisions based on sound judgment. Some of the goals of the program include creating a survival mindset, teaching environmental awareness, explaining the human decision-making process, and learning about and focusing on human behaviors especially threat behaviors.

This 4-hour INMA NISRU Workshop Wednesdays offering will be held over two days and will also prepare you to take the Arcuri Group SAS credential examination and receive this certification. Students desiring to pursue the credential can do so for an additional $75 fee, paid directly to Arcuri; more details will be provided during the workshop.

The SAS credential allows the holder access to free continuing education opportunities offered several times a year by experts in the craft of situational awareness and free membership to a global forum with an active SAS membership with participants from 64+ countries.
